2020 marked the 80th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. Fought over British skies during 1940, the battle was a turning point in WWII and ultimately saved Britain from German invasion. Any other outcome would have had unimaginable consequences on our lives as we know it today.

Guernsey ‘Spitfire’ £5 — this design depicts the iconic Supermarine Spitfire and features a ‘V for Victory’ background which has been finished with the addition of Spitfire silhouettes.
