In 2015 to commemorate the 600th Anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt, the Royal Mint released a Limited Issue Battle of Agincourt £5 Five Pound Silver Proof Coin struck in solid .925 Sterling Silver.
The reverse designed by Glyn Davies features a lightly armoured archer in the foreground with a hatchet or hammer, weapons thought to have caused great damage and death to the French knights .
The obverse design depicts the stunning portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley FRBS.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
