Own a 2005 1/10oz silver proof Britannia, struck in .958 Britannia silver to The Royal Mint’s exacting proof standard. This fractional Britannia displays frosted devices and mirrored fields, showing off its intricate one-year-only design by Philip Nathan. Britannia is depicted seated, facing left in classical robes, her Corinthian helmet in place and trident upright in hand. At her feet grows a young oak sapling, symbolising strength and endurance, while a breastplate lies beside her. The obverse carries Ian Rank-Broadley’s fourth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. A scarce issue for collectors, with just 913 tenth-ounce Britannias released in this individual presentation. Each coin is supplied in its original Royal Mint display case with a numbered certificate of authenticity enclosed.
