The Canadian Mint introduced the Canadian Cougar as its first coin from the four-coin ‘Canadian Predator’ series. The series consists of four, one ounce silver coins that are struck in 99.99% pure silver, and celebrates some of Canada’s most iconic animals of prey.

The 2016 Cougar was the first of the four coins, and is limited to a maximum mintage of 1million coins.
