In 1970 for the last time ever, the Royal Mint released Limited Issue Pre-Decimal Proof 8 Coin collection of the present coinage of the United Kingdom.
The collection includes the Half Crown, Florin, English Shilling, Scottish Shilling, Sixpence, Threepence, Penny and Halfpenny.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
Most of the Proof sets from the 70’s come with some toning, but we will send you the best set we have in stock at the time.
