In 1995 to celebrate the 95th Birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, the Royal Mint on behalf of Guernsey released a very Limited Issue £5 Five Pound Coin.

A formal present-day portrait of the Queen Mother, modelled by Royal Mint engraver Robert Elderton, graces the reverse of the Guernsey Five-Pound Coin while the obverse features Raphael Maklouf’s elegant portrait of Her Majesty the Queen.
