1997 Golden Wedding £5 BU CC Certified

In 1997, to celebrate the Golden Wedding of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, The Royal Mint released a Limited Issue Brilliant Uncirculated Golden Wedding £5 Five Pound Coin Pack.

The obverse has conjoint portraits of The Queen and Prince Philip, designed by Philip Nathan.
The reverse design has the Royal Arms and Arms of Prince Philip surmounted by St Edward’s Crown dividing the dates “1947”, “1997” and “20 November” and an anchor below with the denomination “Five Pounds” designed by Leslie Durbin.
