This 1999 New Scottish 1 pound coin cover is a first day cover issued by Mercury Covers. It commemorates the new Scottish one pound coin released in 1999 by the Royal Mint and new Royal Mail stamps. The brilliant uncirculated coin carries the Scottish Lion Rampart design on the reverse and Scotland themed stamps. The commemorative cover was issued on St Andrews Day. Postmark cancelled St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland 30th November 1999.
