In 2004 the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue Decimal Proof 10 Coin collection of the present coinage of the United Kingdom.
The collection includes the Trevithick’s Steam Locomotive £2 Two Pound Coin, Shoulders £2 Two Pound Coin, £1 One Pound, Bannister 50p Fifty Pence, Britannia 50p Fifty Pence, 20p Twenty Pence, 10p Ten Pence, 5p Five Pence, 2p Two Pence and 1p One Pence Coins.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
