This 2005 Silver Proof Piedfort 4-Coin Collection contains an example of four of the UK coins issued in 2005. The set consists of the £2 commemorating the foiling of the Gunpowder Plot, the £1 featuring the Menai Straits Suspension Bridge, the 50p marking the 250th anniversary of Samuel Johnson’s Dictionary, and the £2 celebrating the end of WWII.

Each coin bears the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
