In 2006, to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Victoria Cross, the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue Brilliant Uncirculated Victoria Cross 50p Fifty Pence 2 Coin Set.

This magnificent collection comprises the Victoria Cross Award and Heroic Acts and the obverse of both coins carry Ian Rank Broadley’s portrait of the Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
