Description
King Henry VIII is one of the most famous British monarchs to have ever lived.
He is renowned for his six marriages and, in particular, his attempt at having one of these marriages annulled. In fact, his disagreement with Pope Clement VII on the subject initiated the English Reformation – separating of the Church of England and Roman Catholic Church.
Struck to a Proof quality, this silver piedfort coin features a portrait of King Henry VII, with the Tower of London in the background and his date of birth and death.
