2012 Queen’s Diamond Jubilee £5 Coin in Capsule

In 2012, The Royal Mint issued a £5 crown to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. Commemorative Crowns are issued almost every year, with a unique deisgn for each. The Diamond Jubilee Crown is the first coin ever struck to commemorate a Diamond Jubilee – there were no special coins for Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee in 1897.
