Beatrix Potter lived from 1866 to 1943 and was the artist behind some of the best-loved characters in children’s literature.
This is the rarest of the five Beatrix Potter 50p coins released in 2016.
The reverse design depicts elements that celebrate her life as the artist behind some of the best-loved characters in children’s literature. The obverse features the fifth definitive portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
The Jemima Puddle-Duck 50p is protectively encapsulated and Certified as superior Brilliant Uncirculated quality.
