To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the iconic British Bear, the Royal Mint issued two brand new Paddington 50p coins.
Both coins are based on the modern adaptations of the story from the CGI live action films.
The first features Paddington sitting on his suitcase in Paddington Train Station wearing the famous tag, ‘Please look after this bear. Thank you’. The second coin shows Paddington happily waving a union jack flag outside Buckingham Palace.
Both coins are now in circulation, and are proving to be some of the most sought after collectibles ever issued.
