This year marks 60 years since the establishment of Jersey Zoo.
To commemorate such a momentous occasion, a special £2 coin has
been authorised for release by Jersey Treasury and fully approved
by Her Majesty the Queen.
This brand new 60th Anniversary of Jersey Zoo £2 Coin features a
specially commissioned engraving of a Gorilla by Jersey-born
artist Rosemary Blackmore.
What’s more, each coin has been carefully struck to a superior
Brilliant Uncirculated finish, the standard favoured among
collectors.
