Earlier this year we began a celebration of 20 years of The Gruffalo, with the first 50p coin to feature the purple-prickled monster. Now we’re going back to the deep, dark wood for a new adventure, as the little brown mouse and the Gruffalo appear together on a new 50p coin.

Each coin is struck to Brilliant Uncirculated standard – a finer finish than circulating coins
