They were minted in 2020 and the coins are ‘Brilliant Uncirculated’. They depict every character in Rupert’s comic strips. Circulation limit of only the primary Rupert Bear design entered general circulation on the Isle of Man, with a strict mintage limit of 25,000 coins. The other four characters (Podgy Pig, Bill Badger, Edward Trunk, and Algy Pug) were never released into general circulation. The maximum mintage for each of those four specific designs was strictly limited to 25,000 coins overall. Because the four accompanying character coins were restricted to 25,000 pieces each across all uncirculated formats, a maximum of 25,000 full uncirculated sets could ever theoretically exist. The coins are very detailed and come in a well sealed presentation packaged open card.
