In 2020, to celebrate historic Royal Palaces and the Tower of London, the Royal Mint released a Limited Issue The Royal Mint £5 Five Pound Silver Proof Piedfort Coin struck in solid .925 Sterling Silver.

The reverse designed by Timothy Noad while the obverse depicts the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II designed by Jody Clark.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
