2020 One Ounce Silver Bullion Queen Coin. This is the first release in The Royal Mint’s Music Legends Series. The silver bullion £2 coin celebrates the band Queen, who formed 50 years ago in 1970.

The design features a microphone, keyboard, bass guitar, drums and an electric guitar, paying homage to Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon.

The coin has a mintage of just 25,000 coins. Each coin comes in a capsule.

Queen was formed in 1970 with Freddie Mercury on vocals, Brian May on guitar, John Deacon on bass guitar and Roger Taylor on drums. Known for their music videos, catchy songs and Mercury’s eccentric stage performances, the band quickly became one of the biggest rock bands in the world and have sold an estimated 170 – 300 million albums.
