Sir Ernest Shackleton’s missions to the Antarctic and his race against Robert Falcon Scott are some of the greatest British adventure stories — even inspiring the likes of Sir Edmund Hillary.
And now a BRAND NEW set of three £2 coins have just been issued by Jersey in tribute of this British legend — featuring the polar explorer in full colour.
Supply chain issues mean limited stock available today
Each of the three coins in this set has been struck to a Brilliant Uncirculated finish and comes complete in a special Presentation Pack. The reverse of each of the coins depicts a portrait of Shackleton and represents each of the expeditions he led; the Nimrod Expedition, the Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition, and the Shackleton-Rowett Expedition.
But importantly the current supply chain issues mean we’ve only received a LIMITED NUMBER from the Mint so unfortunately, a good number of people look likely to miss out.
