Description
The Garajonay National Park is located in the central part of La Gomera, Canary Islands, Spain. It received the status of a national park in 1981, and in 1986 it was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The area of the park is 40 km². The name of the park comes from the rock of Garajonay, the highest point of the island (1484 m).
