Description
The 2024 Royal Arms 1oz silver coin is a bullion coin that celebrates the British monarchy. It features the British royal coat of arms which will be recognisable the British residents as the crest used on passports and government documents. The shield is divided into quarters representing England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales, adorned with a ribbon featuring the text “Dieu et mon droit” (God and my right) and “Honi soit qui mal y pense” (Shame on him who thinks evil of it). The central shield is supported by a lion and a unicorn, while a crown sits above it. The obverse of the coin features the official portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings.
The 2024 Royal Arms 1oz silver coin is struck from exactly one troy ounce of 999 fine silver. It has a face value of £2 meaning that for British investors it is exempt from Capital Gains Tax.
