The 2025 Australian Lunar Snake 1oz Silver Coin celebrates the Year of the Snake, the sixth of the 12 animals associated with the ancient Chinese lunar calendar.
The obverse of each coin features an exquisitely detailed design showing a coiled snake beneath hanging leaves. The traditional Chinese character for ‘Snake’ appears within the design, along with the inscription ‘Snake 2025’, and the Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
The reverse of each coin bears Dan Thorne’s portrait of King Charles III. Details of the coin’s weight, fineness, and monetary denomination appear below.
