1986 Annual Deluxe Proof (Red) Coin Set

In 1986 the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue Deluxe Decimal Proof 8 Coin collection of the present coinage of the United Kingdom.

The collection includes the first commemorative Scottish Thistle £2 Two Pound Coin to commemorate the Commonwealth Games, £1 One Pound, Britannia 50p Fifty Pence, the new 20p Twenty Pence, 10p Ten Pence, 5p Five Pence, 2p Two Pence and 1p One Pence Coins.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
