In 2012 to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue Diamond Jubilee £10 Ten Pound Silver Proof Coin struck in solid fine .999 Silver weighing five ounces of pure Silver and has been struck with a deeper relief than any other UK coin made for the Diamond Jubilee.
The reverse design is the Royal Coat of Arms which is found on the gates of Buckingham Palace while the obverse design is a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II wearing Garter Robes which she wears when she attends the Order of the Garter both of which have been designed by Ian Rank Broadley FRBS.
The coin is presented in a stunning box and is accompanied by a colourful booklet and numbered Certificate of Authenticity with a very small worldwide issue limit of only 1,952.
