Description

In 2015 to commemorate Remembrance Day, the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue Poppy £5 Five Pound Silver Proof Coin struck in solid .925 Sterling Silver colourised by the Royal Mint.

The reverse designed by Glyn Davies depicts Poppies inspired by Flanders Fields while the obverse design has the stunning portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley FRBS.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
