Description

This 2016 Battle of Hastings 50p pence coin cover is a Mercury first day cover and commemorates the 950th anniversary of the battle in 1066. The cover hosts a brilliant uncirculated 50p pence coin by the Royal Mint and Royal Mail stamps illustrating aspects of the battle. Cancelled postmark The Battle of Hastings Battle East Sussex 14th October 2016.
The commemorative coin cover comes complete with a certificate of authenticity by Westminster Collection and enjoys a limited issue of 150. The cover is presented in a card folder.
