In 1984 for the second year running the Royal Mint released a very special Limited Issue Brilliant Uncirculated Scottish Thistle £1 One Pound Coin Pack.

The reverse is the Scottish Thistle designed by Leslie Durbin and the obverse is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II designed by Arnold Machin.
