Description

This 2017 Battle of Britain 60th anniversary 50p pence coin collection is issued by The Royal Air Force BBMF. It commemorates the Memorial Flight of the Battle of Britain’s 60th year and hosts five Guernsey 50p pence coins. The coins all in silver plated copper with coloured printing show each of the aircraft used in the battle: Avro Lancaster B1, Hawker Hurricane Mk IIC, Supermarine Spitfire Mk IIA, Douglas C-7 Dakota and the De Havilland Chipmunk. Official Licensed product of the Royal Air Force.

The coin collection is pre-owned and enjoys a limited issue of 9,500.
