2019 Isle of Man – D-Day Leaders £2 BU Set

2019 marks the 75th anniversary since the D-Day landings, to commemorate this Tower Mint Limited released a set of 3 £2 coins for circulation in the Isle of Man. Each coin depicts one of the great leaders who masterminded the Normandy landings surrounded by excerpts of their famous speeches:

• Sir Winston Churchill – “We shall never surrender”
• King George VI – “The great crusade goes forth”
• Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery – “Let us go forward to victory”
