Issued shortly after what would have been his 100^th birthday and within just three months of his passing, this special tribute coin features a striking never-before-seen portrait of Prince Philip, with design elements put forward by the Duke himself!

As Britain’s longest serving Consort — the Queen’s “strength and stay” — and as former President of the Royal Mint Advisory Committee, it is only fitting that a UK coin should be issued in his honour.
